Your Mulank is your birth day reduced to a single digit. Add the two digits of the day, and add again if the result has two digits. Born on the 24th: 2 + 4 = 6. Born on the 29th: 2 + 9 = 11, then 1 + 1 = 2. If you were born on the 1st to the 9th, the day itself is your Mulank. The month and year do not matter.
How to calculate Bhagyank
Your Bhagyank uses the whole date of birth. Add every digit of the date, then reduce the total to a single digit. For 24 July 1993: 2 + 4 + 0 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 3 = 35, and 3 + 5 = 8. You get the same answer if you reduce the day, the month and the year separately first.
