"Will I get married in 2027?" Vedic astrology answers this in two layers. First, your dasha, the planetary period running in your own chart, decides whether 2027 can bring marriage at all. Second, the transits of Jupiter and Saturn decide when in the year the door opens. The rule: Jupiter, Saturn and your 7th house
The 7th house is the house of marriage. Counted from your Moon sign, it is activated in two ways:
- Jupiter blesses it when it transits the 7th, or aspects it. Jupiter aspects the 5th, 7th and 9th signs from itself, so it reaches your 7th house from your 1st, 3rd or 11th house too.
- Saturn commits it when it transits the 7th or aspects it. Saturn aspects the 3rd, 7th and 10th signs from itself, so it reaches your 7th from your 1st, 5th or 10th house.
When both touch the 7th house at the same time, astrologers call it a double transit: the classic trigger for marriage, if your dasha also supports it. Jupiter alone is a good window; Saturn alone tends to bring seriousness, commitment and sometimes delays before a firm decision.

What it means for each sign
Mesh: Jupiter doesn't reach your 7th house in 2027, and Saturn aspects it from your own sign (3 June – 19 October). Relationships turn serious and practical; decisions may take longer. Many Mesh natives formalise plans late in 2027 for a 2028 wedding.
Vrishabh: Jupiter's 5th aspect from Cancer blesses your 7th house from 25 January to 25 June: your clearest window for proposals, meetings and engagements in 2027.
Mithun: One of the strongest years. Both planets touch your 7th house in January and again from 20 October to 25 November, and Jupiter supports it all through 26 June – 25 November.
Kark: Jupiter on your own sign aspects your 7th house from 25 January to 25 June, and Saturn joins from 3 June: 3–25 June is a short double-transit window. Jupiter returns to your 7th via its aspect from 26 November.
Singh: Jupiter on your sign looks straight at your 7th house in January and from 26 June to 25 November: a warm, supportive time for relationships, without Saturn's pressure.
Kanya: Saturn sits in your 7th house for most of the year and Jupiter supports it from 25 January to 2 June and from 26 November: two double-transit windows. Expect serious, committed relationships rather than casual ones.
Tula: Saturn transits your 7th house from 3 June to 19 October while Jupiter aspects it: 26 June – 19 October is your double-transit window, often a time of firm commitment.
Vrishchik: Saturn aspects your 7th most of the year; Jupiter joins from 26 November. The year-end is the window to watch, continuing into 2028.
Dhanu: Saturn aspects your 7th from 3 June to 19 October, without Jupiter's support this year. A time to build a relationship on solid ground; Jupiter's support comes later.
Makar: Jupiter transits your 7th house, in exaltation, from 25 January to 25 June: one of the best Jupiter windows of the year for marriage talks.
Kumbh: Jupiter transits your 7th house in January and from 26 June to 25 November, with no Saturn pressure: a gentle, favourable year for relationships.
Meen: Saturn on your sign aspects your 7th house for much of the year; Jupiter transits it from 26 November, giving a double transit at the year-end that runs into 2028.
Why the transit is only half the answer
Transits are the same for everyone with your Moon sign. Whether 2027 actually brings marriage depends on your dasha: the Mahadasha or Antardasha of Venus, the 7th lord, or a planet in your 7th house is the usual trigger. Which rashis have the best marriage chances in 2027? By transit alone, Mithun, Kanya and Tula have the longest double-transit windows, with Kark, Vrishchik and Meen getting shorter ones. Your own dasha decides how strongly that works for you.
What is a double transit for marriage? It is when Jupiter and Saturn both transit or aspect your 7th house at the same time. Classical astrology treats it as the strongest transit signal for marriage, if the dasha supports it.
Is 2027 bad for marriage if I have Sade Sati? No. Sade Sati doesn't block marriage. Saturn often brings commitment and maturity to relationships; many people marry during Sade Sati.
