Birth chart calculation

• Zodiac: sidereal (Vedic), using the True Chitra Paksha ayanamsa. Printed kundlis that use Lahiri can differ by about a minute of arc, which can move dasha dates by days to a few weeks.
• Engine: the open-source jyotishganit library for planetary positions, houses, nakshatras, panchanga (tithi, yoga) and aspects.
• Charts: D1 (Rashi) for the birth chart, plus divisional charts D4 (property), D9 (Navamsa: marriage and strength) and D10 (Dashamsa: career).
• Unknown birth time: the free calculators can calculate for 12:00 noon; the Lagna, houses and divisional charts may then be inaccurate.

Dasha systems

• Vimshottari (120 years; Mahadasha → Antardasha → Pratyantardasha), shown from your date of birth with the balance at birth.
• Yogini (36-year cycle of eight Yoginis) and Chara (Jaimini, sign-based) dashas, used to confirm Vimshottari windows.
• For timing questions the AI shows a Dasha agreement table: the windows where all three, or two of the three, systems point to the same period. Window dates are taken from the calculated periods, not invented.

Marriage timing

• About 30 classical techniques are run on your chart: Vimshottari, Yogini and Chara dasha rules; Jupiter and Saturn transits over the 7th house, its lord, Venus and the Darakaraka; Jaimini Upapada and Arudha rules; a Nadi rule; and annual (Varshaphal) charts.
• The marriage density graph shows, for each half-year from age 18, the most techniques that agree on any single date in it. The ranked windows are the dates where the most techniques overlap, shown with six months either side.
• A high peak means many classical indicators point to the same period. It is not a certainty: choices and circumstances matter.

How the AI astrologer is instructed

• Answers use only the calculated chart and dasha data; the model must not invent placements or dates.
• Transits are not used; timing comes from the dasha chain.
• Readings are framed as tendencies, never certainties. No death or longevity predictions, no medical diagnoses, and no gemstones, paid rituals or fear-based remedies.
• Answers are generated by an AI model and are not reviewed by a human astrologer before you see them. They can contain mistakes.

Privacy

Your name, birth date, birth time and birthplace are removed before anything is sent to the AI model; it receives only the calculated chart and dasha periods plus your question. See the privacy policy.
